BIOGRAPHY
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gürkan Kaya, who graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 2009, completed his PhD in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Dicle University in 2017, earning the title of Doctor of Science. Since 2018, he has continued his academic career as an Assistant Professor at Sakarya University Faculty of Dentistry.
He has specialized in dental implants, orthognathic surgeries, oral and surrounding tissue cysts and tumors, as well as laser applications in dentistry.
He has also pursued his professional development on international platforms. He participated in the Periodontology and Implantology master's program at the University of Genoa (2015-2016) and received training on aesthetic zone implant applications at the Steigmann Institute in Germany (2015-2017).
As a member of important professional organizations such as the Turkish Oral Implantology Association, International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Turkish Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, he closely follows the latest developments in his field.
With both academic and clinical expertise, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gürkan Kaya specializes in oral, dental, and maxillofacial surgery and continues his work at a private clinic.
