BIOGRAPHY

He graduated with honors from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2004. In 2009, he completed his Ph.D. in the Department of Prosthodontics at Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Dentistry. He was appointed as an Assistant Professor in 2010 and received the title of Associate Professor in 2012. In 2018, he was appointed as a Professor at Sakarya University Faculty of Dentistry and was assigned as the Dean in the same year. In October 2022, he resigned from his position and currently continues his professional career at his private clinic.

He has published nearly 70 national and international articles on topics such as dental implants, zirconia, laser applications in dentistry, denture base  materials, and dental magnetic attachments. He has served as a scientific committee member and moderator at many national and international congresses and symposiums, and has delivered presentations as an invited speaker.

In addition to being the founding editor of the Cumhuriyet Dental Journal and a board member of the Journal of Prosthodontics, he also serves as a peer reviewer for several prestigious journals such as Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related Research, Journal of Prosthodontics, Journal of Advanced Prosthodontics, Photomedicine and Laser Surgery, and Clinical Oral Investigations. He is a member of the Turkish Society of Prosthodontics and Implantology.

He organizes national and international courses on digital smile design and digital implantology. In his clinical practice, he focuses especially on implant-supported prostheses, digital implantology, digital smile design, and zirconia-based treatments.
